Please read this
Poh Kim Gift Card terms and conditions which govern the use of your Poh Kim Gift
Card (Gift Card) and keep it for future reference. Using the Gift Card, or allowing someone else to use the Gift Card means
you accept all the terms and conditions.
A.
USING OF PK CARD.
1)
The Gift
Card is a prepaid Card with a stored value reloadable in the form of $50 or
$100. The Gift Card can be used at all Poh Kim¡¦s outlet for payment of DVD, VCD
and CD. But you must not exceed the stored value. We may restrict use if we
notice excessive use or other suspicious activities.
2)
The
use of Gift Card to purchase discs constitutes a withdrawal from the stored
value. You cannot ¡§Stop Payment¡¨ on any transaction after it has been
completed. The stored value reflected in our system will be deemed to be the
final stored value and no dispute will be entertained on the correctness of the
stored value.
3)
If you
have a problem with a purchase you make with the Gift Card, you agree to accept
Poh Kim¡¦s refund policy in the form of in-store credit,
cash refund will not be entertained.
4)
You
are responsible for all transactions initiated by use of Gift Card. If someone
else uses your Gift Card, we will treat this as if you have authorized this
person to use the card.
5)
Immediately
after using the Gift Card at any Poh Kim outlet, the user of the Gift Card
shall check to ensure that the correct Gift Card has been returned to the user.
Poh Kim will not be liable for any loss, damage, theft or unauthorized use of
the Gift Card. Any lost or stolen Gift Card will not be replaced by Poh Kim.
6)
Any
unutilized value in the Gift Card may not be encashed.
7)
After
the stored value has been used up, you have to top-up the value in order to use
the Gift Card again.
B.
EXPIRATION OF CARD
The Gift Card is
valid until the expiration date shown on the card. You may not use an expired
Card to make any transaction. You cannot close the Card account and obtain a
refund of the unused stored value. If there is unused stored value when the
Card expires, such unused stored value is non refundable. It is important that
you utilize the entire stored value before the expiry of the Card.
C.
AMENDMENTS.
Poh Kim reserves
the right to change the terms and conditions governing the use of the Gift Card
from time to time at its sole discretion. Poh Kim may provide notification of
such changes at Poh Kim website www.pohkim.com.sg
or at Poh Kim outlet or by other means of communication as Poh Kim may deem fit
and shall be effective as of the date specified by Poh Kim in such
notification.
D.
CUSTOMER SERVICE: BALANCE INQUIRIES.
You may check the
unused stored value through the merchant terminal prior to the transaction.
